Yellow Rose is a variable edition fine art flower emulsion lift print adhered to Cotton Paper.  Available in square sizes 8”, 12”, 20” and 28”.  Gold or Gold and Pearl iridescence glows from the image and changes depending on the angle of your view. Yellow Rose is made in 2 ways.  The images that you see which appear more yellow are mixed with gold mica in the emulsion. The others, that appear lighter, are mixed with both pearl and gold micas.

About This Artwork:
Emulsion Lift Prints are an Alternative Printing Process that differs from a photograph print.  Both start out the same as digital images from the computer. Both are printed using the same printer.  However, whereas a photographic print is completed once it is printed on paper, the Emulsion Print begins its life printed on a transparent film and then is hand painted with an Emulsion.  Painting the film actually moves the ink a bit resulting in brush marks, streaks, and various types of imperfections.  The emulsions are mixed with gold and or pearl micas giving the images a luster and  3-dimensionality that you will not see in a photographic print.  The process continues when the film is soaked in water.  While in the water the emulsion, a very thin material,  will separate from the film allowing its removal from the water.  It is then adhered to cotton paper.  The paper and images are hand sized and will have size variations, i.e., will not be a perfect square.  When dry it is ready for shipping, framing and ready to bring extra beauty to your space!  Please note that colors may vary from what appears on your screen.

For US locations outside the contiguous states, a quote will be provided to the customer for approval and will be charged prior to shipping approximately $10-20. At this time, international shipments are not available due to ever changing rules and tariffs. Care instructions

For Giclée prints, wear protective cotton gloves when handling the print.  Giclée prints on bamboo paper will absorb oils from your hands.  Your print is paper and does not lend itself to being cleaned.

For Emulsion prints, always start with dry methods. Use a clean, lint-free microfiber cloth or a rocket air blower to gently lift loose dust. If a mark or smudge persists, lightly dampen a soft cotton swab with distilled water and gently dab the spot.
