Collection: Rose Emulsion Lift Prints

Rose Emulsion Lift Prints by Jamie Buzil

This collection features variable edition rose emulsion lift prints by Jamie Buzil, handcrafted on archival cotton paper using the emulsion lift process. Each print is entirely one-of-a-kind — the photographic emulsion is carefully lifted and transferred by hand, introducing subtle organic variation in texture, tone, and surface that makes every piece its own.

About the Emulsion Lift Process

An emulsion lift is an alternative photography technique in which the emulsion layer of a photographic print is floated off its base and repositioned onto a new surface by hand. The process introduces soft folds, tonal shifts, and delicate texture — qualities that bring the image closer to a watercolor or painting than a traditional photograph. No two prints are identical.
